A Dip in Jumeirah Beach in Dubai

My boyfriend had been hinting that he wanted to take me to the beach since I got here in Dubai. One lazy Saturday afternoon, we finally made it to Jumeirah Beach Park. Though I was hesitant to go there at first (I didn't want to get dark and I believed only Philippine beaches were worth the trip), I did enjoy our time together and even asked to come back because I didn't bring any swimwear with me!

He first toured me around the restaurants and shops lying adjacent to the beach park before we ventured to its sandy shore. That's another thing I liked about the place. After you soaked up some sun and swam until your body tired, you can simply dry yourself, change your clothes, and walk to a nearby resto or shop. Don't worry because the beach park is complete with facilities (e.g., shower, toilet, and changing rooms).

Getting there was quite easy, too!

How to get to Jumeirah Beach Park
Just take the metro station and get off at Jumeirah Lakes Towers station. From there, walk to the tram station which will take you to the Dubai Marina station. Then transfer and ride the tram again to Jumeirah 1 or 2. Get off from there and walk through a plaza then you can see the beach already. Probably sounds confusing but it's really easy. You can always ask around, anyway!

Photo dump of our first time at Jumeirah Beach Park. I was even wearing a long dress because I didn't have any intention to swim or sunbathe! I immediately changed my mind once I saw the beach and the tourists basking under the summer sun.
